This enhancement is accelerates compliance with key provision of the USA PATRIOT Act specific to Know Your Customer.

EVS enables every client to custom design how and when they use our solutions. The EVS system can quickly adapt to any size business application to deliver what the client needs.

Application

EVS offers the most effective identity authentication solution in the marketplace today. EVS generates a series of "out of pocket" historical questions to authenticate an applicant. The correct person will answer quickly and easily without delaying the transaction. An identity thief will be deterred or struggle and depart to steal elsewhere. Typical environments include any industry that issues money, credentials, access control, account clearance or commerce. Typical applications include account opening, POS and remote exchange.

Solutions

In today's environment it is becoming increasingly important to know that the person you're talking to or selling goods and services to is exactly who they say they are. Now with the help of cutting edge technology EVS can assist you in determining, in real-time, the likelihood that the person you are talking to IS who they claim to be thus dramatically reducing potential losses.

EVS offers two products to assist in reducing fraud losses; Non-Permissible Use and Permissible Use. The difference being, Non-Permissible Use does not ask financial related questions, while Permissible Use asks both non-financial and financial related questions.

Sample Non-Permissible Use Multiple Choice Questions:

  • Which of the following addresses is or has been associated with you?
  • Which of the following zip codes is associated with this address?
  • Which of the following telephone area codes is associated with this address?
  • Which of the following names are associated with you?
  • Which of the following states was this address located?
  • Which of the following states was your social security number issued?

Sample Permissible Use Multiple Choice Questions:

  • *All Non-Permissible Use Questions
  • Which of the following was a mortgage associated with you?
  • Which of the following companies financed your last automobile?
  • What color was the last vehicle you purchased?

Most thieves are using good identity data that enables them to pass undetected through the majority of the current fraud protection systems already in place today. The EVS system employs a unique question based screening process to extend the credentialing process well beyond traditional score based models. EVS clients are able to positively authenticate their customer's true identity and proceed confidently with the transaction. EVS employs some questions that cannot be found on a person's credit bureau. This stops the identity thieves that have fraudulently obtained their victim's credit bureau as a guide to answer the questions.
